The Story Behind Spicy Kitty Rage Room
Spicy Kitty Rage Room was created from a simple idea: stress relief should feel safe, expressive, and actually fun. Built by Joan and Youdong, our space brings themed rage rooms, playful activities, and a little cat-powered chaos to Alhambra.
More Than a Place to Break Things
Spicy Kitty Rage Room began with a feeling many people know too well: needing a way to let things out, but not always knowing where to put them.
For Joan and Youdong, rage rooms offered something unexpectedly freeing. There was something powerful about putting on safety gear, picking up a bat, and releasing frustration somewhere safe.
But after trying a few, they kept thinking the same thing: this could be more fun.
The idea was good. The rooms just didn’t feel like places they would rush back to. So they started imagining their own version. More themed. More playful. Less “blank room with breakables,” and more “wait, I actually want to see what’s in the next room.”
That idea became Spicy Kitty Rage Room: a cat-themed rage room and indoor entertainment space for people who want to let loose without doing the same old thing.

Spicy Kitty Rage Room grew from our own search for a better emotional outlet.
Through our experiences with depression, anxiety, and the harder parts of life, we learned how important it is to have somewhere safe to let things out. Supporting each other through those moments became part of our relationship, and over time, that support turned into an idea: what if we could create a space where other people could find their own version of release?
That idea became Spicy Kitty.
We believe stress relief should not look the same for everyone. Some people want to smash things. Some want to scream, color, play, or simply do something that helps them feel lighter for a while. We want to redefine rage rooms and offer playful, immersive experiences that give people room to express themselves without judgment.
At its heart, Spicy Kitty is more than a place to break things. It is a place to let go, make memories, reconnect with joy, and walk out feeling ready for whatever comes next.
